A busy psychiatric practice in West Leederville requires a Medical Receptionist to join their friendly and supportive team

Our client is seeking a Medical Receptionist/Secretary to join our friendly and supportive psychiatric practice located on Cambridge Street West Leederville.  The practice operates from 8.30am to 4.30pm and flexible working conditions are possible with the option of full-time or part-time hours. 
 
Desirable Criteria:
  • Medical reception experience is desirable, preferably in a specialist practice  
  • Self-motivation, problem solving skills and the ability to work cohesively in a small team environment essential
  • Best Practice Medical Software experience including billings, bookings, referrals and follow-up appointments  
  • Medical typing
  • Ability to multitask  
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to practice requirements  
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook  
  • Excellent customer service to patients, other providers and hospital staff as well as excellent communication skills within the office team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
  • Maintain a high level of written and verbal communication skills. This includes a professional telephone manner and written email communications  
Essential Criteria
  • Ability to work in Australia  
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
Duties:
  • Meeting/greeting of patients  
  • Answering phones and making appointments  
  • Coordinating and managing clinic sessions
  • Liaising with various pathology and radiology providers to schedule scans and follow up results prior to clinic 
  • Accounts - billing/receipting money, banking and the use of EFTPOS 
  • Scanning/entering clinical data  
  • Management of computerised diary  
  • Other duties as required as required by the Practice Manager
